Festivals and Community Events - People celebrating together!

Are you seeking a highly regarded event management team for your next community event or festival?

With our expertise in all areas of events and passion for outdoor events, High As A Keyte will be sure to provide inspiration and outstanding ideas for your community event.

We have worked with the dance community, Brazilan and Indian communities, surfing and golf fraternities, to name just a few of our partners and clients.

Brazilian Festa

In 2009 we partnered with a team of passionate Brazilians to create the highly successful Brazilian Festa at Starlight Cinema. This outstanding cultural event brought together Brazilians from all over Sydney along with lovers of Latin culture for an afternoon and evening of Brazilian colour, movement, food, music, dance, photography, sport and film.

Mystical India

High As A Keyte focuses on creating entertainment-based events which are fun and exciting.

In 2010 we created Mystical India with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Australia. This beautiful event celebrated some of the many cultural assets of India including the mystique, music, dance, food and Bollywood.

Surf Film Festivals

We've had an association with the surfing community since 2005 when we provided our 16m x 8m screen for the Billabong Jack McCoy Surf Film Festival at Pittwater Rugby Park. In 2007 we created Surf on the Turf with Tim Bonython, a festival celebrating Australian surfing and music. In November 2010 we presented the Surfing World Surf Film Festival at Starlight Cinema as part of the Manly Festival of Surfing. This inaugural festival celebrated all genres of surfing.

Genée International Ballet Competition

Case Study. In 2002, after being held for 70 years in London, the Royal Academy of Dance decided to present its flagship event, the Genée International Ballet Competition, in Sydney. We invited Jill Keyte to produce the event. She brought our brief to life working with our London and Australian staff and committees, the venues and candidates. She managed every aspect of the event - selection of venues, devising the education programme, ticketing, marketing and the competition itself. The Genée Grand Final Performance at the Sydney Opera House sold out within weeks of going on sale. We were delighted with the result of the Competition in Australia and the services provided by High As A Keyte.
